This has included Elementary Probability and Statistics, Statistics for Engineers, Mathematical Statistics, Linear Models and Multivariate Statistics, Time Series, Multiple Time Series, Regression Analysis, Analysis of Variance, Probability Theory, Survival Analysis, Quality Control, Categorical Data Analysis, SAS Programming, and Statistical Methods in Epidemiology. Most of these have been graduate level courses. I have also taught several courses off campus. RESEARCH Prior to 1980, my area of research was the mathematical theory of Functional Analysis with 25 published articles. Since 1980 my area of research has been Applied Statistics. I am interested in Linear Models, Survival Analysis, Epidemiology, and Biostatistics. I have over 90 published articles with another 10 submitted or written. In addition, I have been a speaker and an invited speaker at national and international Statistics conferences. CONSULTING Since 1980 I have been involved in several major statistical consulting projects. Much of my consulting involves collaboration with faculty colleagues at UC, both on the main campus and the Medical campus.
