The Mathematical Sciences Department offers a wide range of courses at the undergraduate and graduate level.
Courses frequently taken by students to satisfy their mathematics requirement include: College Algebra, Statistics for Health Sciences, Topics in Math, Elementary Probability and Statistics, Applied Calculus, and Calculus. Information on these courses can be found on the course websites. All entering
students are required to take a Mathematics Placement Test. Entry into either Calculus or Applied Calculus is restricted to students with qualifying placement test scores. There are also recommended qualifying scores for College Algebra, Statistics for Health Sciences, Topics in Math, and Elementary
Probability and Statistics.
